The Sun is just about on the cusp as the week begins finalizing his stay in Taurus, and ready to move into Gemini on Monday.

Hopefully you’ve had a chance to get in touch with your body and the earth over the past few weeks. If you haven’t had a chance to tune into the earth element to start off the season of sunshine and mother earth’s glory, you should spend some time Sunday getting your hands dirty. The lilacs, apple blossoms and trees are now in bloom for your enjoyment. Breathe deeply and finalize preparing your foundation–your body–for the next phase in the astrological cycle. Monday will be a great time to start a new meditation practice ensuring your mind is present in all that you do.

With Mars still in Taurus, it’s a good time to pound the pavement, with shock absorbing sneakers of course, to expel excess energy. Squats are a good way to ground your energy.

Some of you may be noticing a resolution is happening with your finances. Taking a stand, focusing on paying down your debt, and being responsible is a lesson many have been working through. Attracting greater prosperity has everything to do with decision making and mindfulness to cause and effects. For some, it hasn’t been easy but finally payments that needed to come through have shown up. As you put your foot down and taken the steps necessary to stabilize your foundation you’ve realized that nobody is an island. How we interact with others can help all of us build a better future when we work together. By strengthening bonds, balancing giving and receiving, wants and needs are better fulfilled.

Venus is already in Gemini since May 9th, and Mercury came back home on the 15th. Now that the Sun is joining the party we’re all entering mind mode. With Neptune not in jive with planets in Gemini now, don’t expect to have major, intuitive revelations. It’s also best if you can find ways to help keep your mind be centered rather than pulled into distraction by emotions. Surrounding yourself with artful prints, colors and patterns that stimulate your mind will help boost your mental alertness and attentiveness. Choose lively colors when you’re feeling listless, like yellows and oranges, and calming aqua blues and greens to rest and relax the mind. Your environment affects your thought processes.

As I write this, we just had an earthquake as the Sun prepares to move out of earthy Taurus. Since it was minor with no major damage, instead of being scary it was actually quite fun to gab about with friends. Expect gabbing to become more interesting as we head into Gemini, the sign of communication. These days when we think of communication it’s usually social networking, texting and technological methods. This isn’t going to change anytime soon, but communication reaches much further than the tips of our fingers and electronic gadgets.

Real, human interaction gives us something more than technology can provide. With all our senses and the magic of life within each of us, we truly are an advanced technology ourselves. We’re super advanced, living and breathing in a 3D world with sensory stimulation galore. Yet, we do have our flaws of course.

A lot of humanities flaws have to do with our ego. The Sun symbolizes the ego–the self as an individual. It’s easy for people to see their own point of view and disregard the views of others. In fact for some it can become violent with gnashing of teeth and downright nasty gossip. But now that we’ve got Mercury and Venus getting closer together, and meeting on the 24th, hopefully we can overcome the side of our egos that separate us, and have a meeting of the minds that are more gentle, respectful and even loving. Seeing eye to eye will be an important resolution for many this week. If you’re trapped in an argument that is draining the very life out of you, let it go for a higher understanding.

Mercury is the messenger of the gods; Venus is the goddess of love. That’s something to look forward to. Both Mercury and Venus will be having a nice conversation with Uranus in Aries. Spontaneous, witty conversations will raise your energy. Feel free to speak candidly,with openness and honesty to clear your mind.

The Lunar Eclipse on Saturday, May 25 will be the third eclipse we’ve had in a month. This means the shadow of the earth will eclipse the Full Moon. It could certainly be the end of a chapter for many of you. It could be dramatic. Make sure you try your best to be conscious of the consequences. Perhaps if you decide to cut off all communication with someone, that it is the best. Or, you may finally find your prayers being answered. Synchronicity will be supercharged during this Full Moon so pay attention to deja vu, repeating words, numbers and events that happen in your life. There may be an important message you will finally get that takes you to the next level, and closes the door so another can open. If a major wake up call happens to you in the few days surrounding the Full Moon, you will have time to absorb the changes next week. The important thing to note is that this Full Moon will have a lot to do with your learning goes up a notch. The lesson will be as packed with meaningful learning for you as you’d get at the end of finishing a full-time course in university. Happy Mother’s Day! We start this week off honoring all mothers–symbolizing birth, creation and manifestation of life in the world. We may live in a patriarchal society now, but woman as a Goddess figure was central to humanity’s worldview thousands of years ago. Today, pagans venerate and honor the sacred feminine. The word “mother” has its roots in the word “matter” which ties together the material world and mother denoted in our reference of our world as Mother Earth.

The words “I love you,” a hug, heartfelt quality time, a nourishing and nurturing meal together, and fresh, fragrant flowers each honor the essence of motherliness in our lives.

Mother Earth is in full blossom now as the Sun moves into the third decanate of Taurus. The strength of the earth element is with us. We each feel best when we embody our sacred connection to nature and the earth now.

With Mercury and the Sun together in Taurus, we do well to be more mindful to how we think about materialism and nature. Eating organic foods, mindfully approaching how your food becomes your body and influences your mind is important now. Of course, “you are what you eat.”

It’s more than just that though–we are all part of a bigger picture beyond just our immediate bodies and environment. We do not live in a bubble (though some of us like to take the easy way out by thinking we do). Being conscious of how your food choices, and thus what you support through the money you spend, affects the bigger picture. Your choices affect the world. If you turn a blind eye and purchase GMO foods and those covered in pesticides, you are influencing more than just your own body. You are influencing the world and the future of our planet. Where you put your money is a vote for what you want, accept or allow in the world and contributes to encouraging that occurrence to continue into the future.

If you didn’t know about Monsanto seeds here’s food for thought: Monsanto sells seeds which grow infertile plants, which means farmers can only produce one generation of plants from the patented GMO seeds they buy from Monsanto. In other words, the seeds from those plants are born inert (dead) and can not grow future plants. So, farmers must buy the seeds for their next crop from Monsanto again and again. Why do farmers buy from Monsanto in the first place? Well, it’s becoming very difficult now for farmers to not buy from Monsanto as they have encroached so heavily on the market as a monopoly, it’s becoming unavoidable. Luckily, in Europe, some countries are now banning Monsanto seeds. This is just the tip of the iceberg. With Mars in Taurus now too, it’s natural to be passionate about such concerns that affect our world. Coupled with the fact that Mars is now reaching out to Saturn, they are tying together the importance of seeing what’s hidden in our world and becoming responsible for our actions and acknowledging the consequences.

Venus in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces are connecting. Wind and water refresh the senses and bring pleasure. Daydreams can bring us out of a funk and help us see beauty in the natural world. Don’t be afraid of getting wet. A little rain is good for the mind, body and soul. Flower gardening is a joy this week.

Mid-week is the perfect time to get your mind in gear. Being quick on your feet, thinking fast is exhilarating. Brushing up on your vocabulary is fun. Read the dictionary and seek out new ways to enjoy language. Venus nearby encourages the beauty of poetic words to reach to the heart.

The week starts off with a personal, spiritual tone on Sunday morning. Let this vibe stretch throughout your week. The sunshine, birds singing and flight patterns signify the movement and energy in our lives rising. Tree’s are becoming fuller by the day. Apple blossoms will soon be peaking out to release their glorious scent. Lily of the valley, tulips, poppies, snapdragons, marigolds, gerbers and a plethora of bulbs all growing into splendid, colorful flowers with delight. Nature is growing its roots deeper and celebrating life.

Don’t delay tuning into the cycles of the cosmos. One of the greatest mistakes is to continuously worry you’ll make a mistake. Don’t hold yourself back now. Let yourself blossom. Don’t let money matters weigh on your mind. There are many ways for you to be creative without having to dish out dollars. Now is a good time to retrain your mind to feel more grounded and secure with the resources you have, and to use your gifts, talents and abilities to your advantage.

Be pleasant. Use your charm. Be loyal and communicate with friends close to you. It’s a good time to think practically about what you want in life, and use your desire to initiate growth to motivate you.

If you are testing the ground in the arts, be patient with yourself. Get your inspiration from the color and shapes popping up around you in nature, on the wings of birds, the squiggly little creatures on the ground, or the bees buzzing in the air. Life is all around you for endless glimpses into inspiration.

Whatever your body can do is your gift to explore and use now. Your body is no less than a grand temple that lets your soul experience the material world. Respect your body.

Financial security is important for just about everyone, but there are ways to feel more abundant without having to accumulate more of anything and everything. Letting go of expenses, and learning how to enjoy the freedom of living a more minimalist lifestyle creates the space for a more abundant mindset. Frugality is a conscious way to become aware of how you are using, and in some cases abusing, resources. If you’re buying more than you need and throwing half of it out, what does that really say about how you relate to the material world? If your food spoils, or you’re shoving unused items in a closet, attic, basement or garage, are you in tune with what you really do and don’t need? Are you dishonoring nature by consuming unnecessarily? It’s a good time to reevaluate your relationship to mother earth and how you are using resources. The early part of the week may bring these considerations more into focus.

Challenges may force you to take another look at how you think about the material world, and inspire you to actively pursue a better relationship with it. It’s also a great day to talk to your plants, at least on a mind level. That kind of connection with the plant kingdom can really inspire you to understand what your purpose and wants in life are. Going for a jog in the forest will really open up your mind and clear out stagnant thought patterns.

Later in the week, on the 9th, the new moon and solar eclipse is here. This will shift consciousness for many by showing the flip side of the coin. Challenges can awaken us all to seeing the possibilities for our climb up the tree of life. Sudden happenings in our lives take us to new realms. We’re in good position to have our consciousness rise when we can see past the limitations for the gifts they bring. We’re in a period of alchemy for the collective. We’ll understand the value of our spirit is priceless.

Hello Fabulous Friends and Fans!

Happy May!

As we start this fabulous month, we do so in the midst of the period between eclipses. This window of time is considered most special.

It is a time when the ancients believed the veil between the worlds was thinnest. Today, we consider it a time when the truth that had been staring you in the face becomes obvious to see.

Normally, eclipses come in pairs, two weeks apart. This time, we get three eclipses in a row, giving us four solid weeks of very special time. Almost the entire month of May represents this significant time of truth and growth.

I think eclipses mark a time when the Universe is intent on putting you back into alignment with the path of the souls intention, the path you wanted to walk before you
incarnated and came into your body. The further off this path you have gone, the more dramatic the shift back. However, if you have been listening and learning, you may find this time to be one of liberation and confirmation. The Universe lets you know you are doing what you are supposed to be doing at this time in your life.

All of this is really powerful. It means that several areas of life are set to change for all of us. It means that the changes that take place now will reap positive rewards for a long time to come, and in some cases, for the rest of your life.

This month features another stand-out key moment with the addition of an exact alignment between Uranus and Pluto. This is a generation defining conversation. I am actually very
encouraged by this conversation. While it is one of tension, we need tension to ask tough questions. Tension is needed to identify what isn’t working and to take action that moves our lives forward.

This conversation is reflecting our need to do what we know in our soul is right. It indicates willingness to follow our own individual calling, without waiting for permission. It is during this time that the growth of the digital nomads will become more evident. People are coming up with original ideas and finding ways to create mini-empires all over the globe. Normal restraints of borders and gate keepers become irrelevant as the digital space increasingly becomes one where creative expression can flourish.

If you want to do something, simply begin. Do it with the trust that you will learn as you go, and your work will lead to profit and growth.

We have already begun a season of change. A season that promises to help each of us identify what needs to change in our own heart so that we can–individually and together–live the New Age.

Life is never easy. It’s definitely got its challenges and blessings, all rolled into one. Disguised among all the pain we encounter throughout our life is the mystery of love.

You may have been feeling the emotions come on strong lately. The Full Moon in Scorpio a few days ago is still a part of our experience and blends into the energy of this week. The eclipse brought us back to that place within ourselves where we need to face our deep feelings. Tears may flow like a river for some, but these are healing tears that need to be shed.

Thank God for your life. Your soul is growing so much because of everything you’re going through.

The bond between ourselves and those we love is made stronger now through the challenges we face. We are brought back to realizing how love is the force that overcomes all obstacles.

Working with one anothers money is an important focus in relationships now. Budgeting and planning come into focus. Sometimes sacrifices need to be made for the longer term good. Spending less wastefully and focusing on building a future together is important. It’s not always easy to share feelings about money, but even if tears must be shed, at least you will know where each other stand so you can move on from where you are.

We’re at the end of tax season, and Saturn in Scorpio brings up the issues of our relationship with money owed. It remind us of how our past choices are determining our future. Taxes awaken within us the need to feel grounded and assured of where we stand financially. They have strong karmic roots reminding us all to be a little bit smarter about how we can make the most of our finances by making better choices. The actions we take, or don’t take, affect our karma immensely. Taxes are just another reminder of this broader reality in our lives.

Setting your money matters in order now is a lesson learned by the mistakes of the past. Planning for your future to manifest your destiny is best when you focus on building your foundation on what you really want in life and what you really love. If you choose to do something just for a paycheck without your heart being in the work, you’re just selling yourself short. Don’t put yourself in that kind of prison sentence forever. You’ve got a lot of potential – give yourself more credit. Working just at a job in survival mode, if necessary, should only be temporary to help you get on your feet. Make sure you put a bigger plan in place for your life and work towards getting yourself into a better position so you can do what you really want to do. Take another look at your resume, especially if it’s been a while, and update it with your goals in mind.

I was at a convenience store recently and the clerk was really quite phenomenal at what he did. He was taking care of the store alone with a continuous line-up of customers. He was manning two cashes, and totally on-the-ball. It only took him maybe 10-15 seconds to deal with each customer as he stepped back and forth from each cash machine, punching buttons, grabbing items, exchanging cash, accepting debit and credit cards, and ensuring the gas charges were in order. He was on fire, and definitely excellent at his job. I was impressed. I thought to myself that he should really be getting paid well for his skills in dealing with the rush of customers so flawlessly. Unfortunately, a position at a convenience store most likely wouldn’t pay that great. If he love his job, hopefully, he’ll acknowledge his skills and at least ask for a raise. Otherwise, I’m certain a higher paying job would value his skills and adaptability. This is a good time to ask for what you want, especially when you are focusing on doing what you love.

You can clear up your past karmic debts and set the stage for a better future by taking the drivers seat in your life. Forget about being passive now. Waiting around for life to happen to you just won’t do this week. Take a stand and think about what you want in your life that will help you build a stronger foundation. What do you feel passionate about?

Letting go of expenses that have only been digging a hole is like spring cleaning on overdrive. Getting right to the root of the issues that have long made you feel restricted instead of sweeping the facts under the rug is important now.

Reading at night, under the covers, feeling at home sets the stage for lightbulb moments. Philosophical understanding may reveal itself and expand your worldview. Keep a pen and pad nearby while you contemplate the meaning of your life. You may have a new understanding that is bigger than you expected.

Procrastination is a bad idea now. Karma builds up when you procrastinate and leads to negative results. When you know something needs to get done, do it, because soon enough, later will eventually become now anyway. Get it off your mind.

Mercury moves into Taurus on May 1st and joins the party with Venus, the Sun and Mars. Studying your natural surroundings from earth to sky will be enlightening. Soaking up all the sensory pleasures of nature from the sounds of birds singing, to the sensation of morning dew underfoot in the grass and the rays of the sun warming your skin will tune you into the magic of the cosmos. Sun salutations and grounding the root chakra will help you manifest the life you want with more ease this week.

As I sit here with the morning sun shining, rising from the eastern horizon, the plants beside me soaking up warm rays, I’m reminded of just how important this relationship between light and matter is. The birds singing outside, the tulips and tiger lilies pushing up through the soil, all potent symbols of life with the Sun in Taurus. It’s all energy, so complex yet so effortless in its perfection it feels simple. All this magic of life happens because nature wants the light. Nature accepts the light.

Venus is at home now in Taurus. This is the perfect time to be creative, enjoy the arts, to build a relationship with the earth, consider the role of finances in your life, and to see your life as abundant in many areas. Where do you feel abundant in your life?

As many of you know Gold has been symbolically associated with the Sun for thousands of years. It represents light manifested in matter. Now that the Sun is in Taurus it’s natural to think about the story of the golden calf. Symbolizing life and fertility, worship of the Bull was common in ancient culture. In the story of the golden calf we can see it is also a potent symbol of money and how people worship money. Humanities hope, happiness and sense of abundance has been tied to money for ages.

Right now, Mercury in Aries is in a challenging relationship with Pluto retrograde in Capricorn which causes us to think more considerably about our finances and our relationship to the material world and our efforts to manifest. The symbol of Capricorn, the goat, is ambitious and climbs high up the mountain. Mercury is the ‘messenger of the gods’ and communicates between the higher and lower realms of humanity, mind and spirit. In the story of the golden calf, Moses climbed Mount Sinai seeking something greater at the top. Then he descends from the mountaintop with the intention of communicating his higher understanding to the people. Yet, what he see’s are people worshiping the golden calf, symbolizing embellishing the ego, or the lower consciousness of material world. The gold symbolizing money and the bull symbolizing fertility, nature, and the earth. In other words, materialism. One of the main themes here is that money can give us a false sense of abundance, but that true fulfillment resides in having a relationship to something higher. Desires and pleasures of the ego are temporary and not truly fulfilling.

In Kabbalah, what Moses’ descent down the mountain symbolizes is the 10 sephirot of the tree of life – the emanations of light from the higher source, the creator.

If this week you feel a bit drained, focus on lifting yourself out of that place by getting real with yourself about what abundance really means.

Money has its benefits and money is certainly loved, but we also know that money is never guaranteed. We know from the stock exchange that the value of money fluctuates greatly from moment to moment. It’s even possible that it can crash at any moment. It is not truly a manifested reality, it is a temporary concept. It is the mind-level impacting the material-level of reality. We all know that minds can change in an instant, and they often do. Consider how a stock can plummet soon after a news article makes an unfavorable statement. So what does that say about our sense of security in the material world? We know that with money can also come fear, and where there is fear we are not reaching our highest potential of loving, fulfilled life. Venus rules Taurus for a reason. We have that higher potential with us now for fulfillment that reaches into our heart. Seek and you shall find it in the deeper truth of the manifested world. “Split a piece of wood, and I am there.”

The stock exchange and wealth are all under the radar these days. Uranus also lends itself to bringing quick changes. Last week we saw Gold drop by seven percent on the stock exchange. A recent documentary The Secret World of Gold by CBC also discussed how many countries actually have very little tangible gold in reserve and where the gold really is, is unknown. Yes, money does touch all of our lives, but life is also bigger than money. The evidence is in nature all around us beyond the concept of dollars and cents and digits moving through cyberspace. Nature exists as it does on something much more fundamental, something much more secure.

So many of us have forgotten this truth – Life itself is abundance. With your life you have so much potential to share who you are, and share in the mystery of life with everyone else.

This week is a good time for you to think bigger about your own understanding of abundance? Think much bigger than the narrow view many people have about abundance equaling only money. What does abundance really mean to you? Does it only mean having more money and more material possessions? Does it mean having a greater relationship with nature, and the material world? Does it mean having more love and friendship in your life? Does it mean having more attention focused on creating art, life, family? Does it mean you are grateful for what you have? Does it mean giving more of yourself and putting more of your effort into the world? Does it mean a more meaningful relationship with the source of existence, whether you personally call it God, the Universe, Creation, Spirit, etc?

Consider what you really want in your life this week. What will really make you feel more abundant in life? Where can you focus your attention so that you feel like you’re living your days with a more abundant mindframe.

It’s a good idea to create a vision board. Create a collage of ideas that represent what you want in your life, and keep in mind while you create it what it is that really makes you feel abundant. Step outside the superficial ideas that society imprints on our psyche’s about material goods and the image we project to others through our possessions, and go deeper into your own soul to mine the metaphorical gold within you that truly makes you feel whole.

With the Sun in Taurus now, the influence of earth is having a great impact in all our lives. The Moon and Neptune bring emphasis on how to manifest your dreams and work towards them. What are the steps you can take towards your vision for your life? Mars in Taurus also brings an initiatory energy to our lives where we can be enthusiastic about life and being in touch with the material world.

This week, reaching for greater wisdom within ourselves and in the world brings us good fortune. All of us get a chance to enjoy life because of the light.

Yes there is a lot of energy in Aries right now and even more with Mercury having entered the picture late Saturday night. Tread carefully. Aries is burning up the skies. You’ve got to be careful about what you say. It’s easy to get a bit miffed. Many of you may have a moment where you feel like, “I’m going to say what I’m going to say, and I’m going to say it Right Now!”  That urge may lead you to saying too much. It’s better to take a deep breath, step away, get out of the space with that other someone so you can cool off. Let your mind settle down.

During that moment of collecting your thoughts and emotions you’ll probably run through 100 points of view in a matter of seconds, none of which will escape the clutches of a fired up attitude. Within just a few minutes your mind will have gone through the ups and down, and gradually become settled and able to focus on putting your energy towards something better.

Let your urges, your flames of passion express themselves in the moment in more creative ways. Whether it’s spontaneous brush strokes on a canvas, a poem full of tremendous potency with every pen stroke, a picture taken at the most opportune moment, give that Aries energy a healthy, fun outlet. Grab a pair of dumbbells, do jumping jacks or sprint to exert that energy ready to burst forth like a volcano on the verge of eruption.

Of course with Mars and Venus ready and willing in Aries, dousing the fire only spontaneous lust can express isn’t a bad way to disarm the warrior. Pleasure takes the mind into the body. Sooner than later the fire breathing dragon your words resembled earlier will be easily forgotten.

Early in the week is a good time to prepare yourself for manifesting. Get your creative supplies together. Whether you are going to start gardening or sculpt a vase, Tuesday is the day to get your hands dirty.

On Wednesday be ready to wake up to how your actions are manifesting in the world. What you shine a light on Wednesday can be the starting point you need to move forward with confidence. A good footing made Wednesday will help you battle your way towards the glory you deserve in your life as the week progresses.

Friday and Saturday are very good days to go outside, especially in the daytime when the sun is shining. Breathe the fresh air, listen to the birds, look for buds forming, and feel the action of the world dancing all around you. The Sun moves into Taurus on Friday. Get in touch with the earth.  There is magic at its roots.

If you’re finding heartburn taking over, eat more alkalizing foods. Apple Cider Vinegar and lemon water may do the trick, or at least initiate a healthy direction. Work with your solar plexus chakra, it’s where the fire is at. It’s a good idea to eat comfort foods that satiate and calm the body and mind. If you can, avoid coffee, and go for an earthier herbal tea substitute such as Dandelion tea to help maintain balance. Add cream to give it more body. Start drinking more water if you feel too much fire.

With Aries being so potent these days, be sure to not initiate anything you can not take back. Think before you do. Talk to those close to you. Consider the consequences of how your actions affect others. Don’t do or say anything that is harmful or spiteful because the consequences are not always known. Words and actions have the potential to catch on fire and spread fast so let the love of Venus pour needed water on the flames. The end of the week calms down frantic thoughts and actions. Try to be patient.

Sadly, you are probably aware of the recent story of Nova Scotia’s, Rehtaeh Parsons, that has ended her life early because of sexual abuse and bullying. In California, the case of Audrie Pott, has been reopened. The world needs to teach our young ones about compassion. Mercury leaving Pisces, moving into Aries, brings that compassion forward so we can all teach each other how to start living with more open hearts and minds. It’s important to talk about it now. This week starts off with a spiritual tone for all of us in personal ways. For everyone, spirituality is a unique, individual experience. No two people think alike, dream alike, or have the same creative visionary concepts or philosophies about life.

Although you may have similarities and parallels to other people, especially those you resonate with, we are all born with our own unique set of characteristics and thinking patterns. It’s all part of what makes life so interesting and gives us all a chance to explore facets of the universe all our own.

Each of us are our very own portal for which we bring spirituality into the world. Our soul has a mission. You’re not here by mistake. Through you, The Divine also gets another point of view in the kaleidoscope of life.

At the beginning of this week we should all take a few moments to reflect on what it is we are here to do. What is your mission? What are you really here to do in this lifetime? As the week progresses inspiration flows and the vision becomes clearer. It may come on suddenly so pay attention to those urges and feelings within. They are there to help direct you towards a more creative direction.

It’s definitely a good idea to get to finalizing your taxes before the week is up. If you have to do your taxes after the week is up, pay close attention to the finer points that may be well hidden. Loopholes are convenient only if you can take advantage of them. Save where you can, but of course you’ll still have to pay according to “Caesar’s” rule book.

Once the end of the week arrives, it will be a good time to start rethinking your relationship to money and how you’d like to move forward in life with a stronger sense of purpose and determination. Wedding your inner world with the shoes on your feet will take you where you want to go faster with less stumbling. Be true to yourself and honor your feelings with each step.

It’s important that each of us brings together a collage of ideas that resonate with us. Then further explore those feelings; imagining them to have a vibration, a color, a tone is a good way to get better in tune using a broader spectrum of your whole self. What feels right, and has the strongest resonance is exactly the direction that will bring you in tune with synchronicity.

Love will really stand out this week. Venus and Mars are creating an alchemy that can’t be ignored. Some of you have probably been feeling it lately. The one you love or adore has a stronger sparkle or you may have been noticing subtle characteristics standing out you really hadn’t realized before. You will be reminded that those flaws and imperfections are an art just for you to admire. They are a magical composition designed for your appreciation.

It’s starting to warm up. Get outside and enjoy that gorgeous sun. You’ll notice the right people will be glowing from within if your heart is open. If you tend to have a closed heart, do some yoga in the mornings. Breathe into your heart and your day will be brighter.

The moment the Sun enters the sign of Aries marks the start of a new astrological year and the moment of the Spring Equinox. The exact moment this year is on March 20th 7:01am EDT. This year, the Moon will be in the sign of Cancer, busy speaking to many power players in the sky. Also notable is Venus at the very end of Pisces, preparing to join the Sun as she enters Aries the following day, which is the day traditionally associated with the equinox, the 21st of March.

This year, our equinox will welcome an awareness of what needs to change. The work that needs to be done so that we can begin to live in the New Age we have entered. The movement of the Moon indicates a desire to be honest with ourselves about where we are, and what we truly need. Venus is reminding us to remember spirit, but to also let that never be an excuse for inaction.

The Spring Equinox was traditionally a time for planting new seeds with the faith that, if properly cultivated, would reap.

In your own life, think about what it is you want to plant now. You do this when you set an intention.

Remember though, that this is the seed, and in order for that intention to grow you need to nurture it with your action. The most important step is listening for any changes. These can be changes to the actions you take to nurture the seed, but I have found what is even more important is to listen. Listen to what an even greater vision might be. Sometimes this requires some slight refinements. Other times, it might be a completely other path that reveals itself.

I have come to realize, when we think of a vision for our future as so big and grand, it is actually very small in comparison to what a loving Universe has planned for us.

The Universe can and does dream a greater dream for you than anything you could dream for yourself.

My intention with this fantastic Spring Equinox is to align myself with that vision, to the best of my imperfect, clumsy, human ability. To nurture that voice in me that listens and wants to know how the Universe, in its mystery, is constantly moving all of us, individually and collectively, towards greater love and greater wisdom.

I’m so grateful that you are here to celebrate your lives and celebrate the sky with me.

New Moon in Pisces, March 11, 2013 –  Astrology Horoscope

Happy New Moon in Capricorn!

I begin 2013 with the news that my Youtube channel is now well past 2 million views. wow!

I know that is because of you. Your trust and encouragement have changed my life, making my work an expression of my spiritual path. I hope to continue to be of use, putting the kind of energy into the world that more and more of us are. It is an energy of love.

Thank you for your very kind enthusiasm for my work. Your generous spirit and affirmation truly means a lot to me. Thank you for the kind messages that have made their way to me through my website and the Social Media sites I’m on.

It is a time of change for us all, and I am no exception.

Long time friends and fans may have noticed an evolution taking place.

I began to speak of these changes at the Autumn Equinox. You can see and read that here.

I have always believed that as long as I share from an honest place inside me, all things will take care of themselves. I believe that abundance is the result of personal integrity and self-trust. I believe my work has affirmed this.

Change can be challenging and thrilling at once. My hope is that you stay with me and love what comes forward. My hope is that my work continues to bring light into your life in new and wonderful ways.

This does mean that, as many of your have noticed, I am pausing the weekly horoscopes written by me for now so that I can focus on the projects asking to be developed and shared with you at this point in my path.

My time in Mexico for the end of the Mayan Calendar and the beginning of The New Age was truly powerful. I look forward to sharing the insights through my work. I hope my growth is evident in the new directions I will begin to explore on this site.

The one constant that remains is my mission, which is to affirm in the world:

“The Universe is Wise and Loving”

I’m going to trust that where it is that inspiration is taking me is for the highest good of all, as part of the great mystery constantly moving us all, collectively and individually, towards greater love and wisdom.

The New Moon in Aquarius on February 10, 2013 is set to be significant for us all. It is around this time you will see me begin to launch new offerings, as part of a fabulous year of continued positivity and inspiration ahead.
