In 2010, an astronomy professor named Parke Kunkle noticed that the Earth’s axis had shifted slightly influenced by the gravitational pull of the moon. For astrology buffs, that shift meant a change to the signs of the zodiac, which are calculated by looking at the alignment of planets and stars. It also meant the addition of a thirteenth sign of the zodiac and that is stirring debate among fans of astrology in India and also among Indo-Canadians. Rashi Khilnani has more on the story.
