Ray Merriman, Financial Astrologer

Ray began his career as a professional astrologer in 1968, a year before finishing undergraduate work in psychology at Michigan State University. He went on to do graduate work in clinical psychology, but with Uranus in the 9th house; Sun, Mars, and Moon in Capricorn; and Virgo rising, he was drawn to investigate the links between earth and spirit, or financial astrology. He founded the Aquarian Revelation Center in 1972, Seek-It Publications in 1977, and the Merriman Market Analyst in 1981. Since 1972, Ray has been a Professional Life Member of the American Federation of Astrologers.

Between 1982-1986 Ray was a frequent guest contributor on the Financial News Network (FNN). He served as an Investment Executive with Prudential Securities and Shearson Lehman Hutton before becoming an Accounts Vice-President of Retail Commodity Futures with Paine Webber. Since 1994 he has been President of The Merriman Market Analyst Inc., an investment advisory firm specializing in market timing products and services. He is also the editor of The MMA Cycles Report, an advisory newsletter issued 18 times/year and used by banks, financial institutions, investors and traders throughout the world since 1982.
